  WELCOME

where is your church on the journey?

When it comes to LGBTQIA+ and the Church the pendulum swings wide. We are all on a the journey. Is a person who is attracted to someone of the same sex not a child of God? As the body of Christ we seem to have decided that when Jesus was telling us in Matthew 7:12 “In everything you do, be careful to treat others in the same way you’d want them to treat you, for that is the essence of all the teachings of the Law and the Prophets." (TPT), that He meant to treat everyone else as you would like to be treated except if they are LGBTQIA+.  Generations before and still we have seen many others marginalized in the name of God. Why have we dehumanized our brothers and sisters, who Jesus also died for as if they were not worthy of our love and respect.

Below are a few stories of Jesus Loving, Christ believing LGBTQIA+ persons and allies. Please listen with the heart that Jesus talks about in Matthew 7:12. How would you have wanted to be treated? To truly walk life with someone we need to first become curious of what it is like to walk in their shoes.
